Free tools and Learning exists because of a simple discomfort: to do anything with a PDF — shrink it, sign it, fix a typo — the internet expects you to upload it to a stranger’s server first. For a lunch menu, fine. For the documents people actually handle every day — offer letters, contracts, bank statements, medical reports — that trade never felt right.
What we built instead
Every tool on this site runs inside your own browser. The page you load contains the machinery; your file stays on your device from first click to final download. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and everything keeps working — we consider that the only privacy claim worth making, because you can test it yourself in ten seconds.

A full set of PDF utilities — edit, sign, compress, merge, split, rotate, watermark, protect and more — plus a growing library of practical guides on handling documents well: how to compress scans properly, when electronic signatures hold up, why your CV should never travel as a Word file. The guides come from the same place as the tools: the everyday document problems of real work.
How the site sustains itself
The site is free and supported by advertising. Because your device does the processing, our running costs stay small — which is what allows every tool to remain free, without accounts, limits or watermarks.
